Born in the shadow of majestic Mount Rainier in the Pacific Northwest, Mountain Muesli’s
mission from the beginning has been to provide healthy, tasty food for everyone.

It all began during a trip to Iceland where founder Chris Young and his family fell in
love with muesli, a healthy staple of Europeans’ breakfast. Not finding anything like it in
the States, Young created his own “American style” Mountain Muesli cereal, the company’s first signature product made in small batches.

More than just absurdly good
food, the Mountain Muesli brand is about a commitment to the environment and
contributing to the greater
social good.

The cereal and minis are made in small batches in Tacoma, Washington. A dedicated facility ensures the products are never contaminated with wheat, soy, corn, eggs, dairy or peanuts.

Ingredients are locally-sourced whenever possible. This includes the oats, flaxseed, honey, and many of the dried fruits.

Mountain Muesli products are sweetened with a blend of honey, agave syrup, and coconut sugar, which has one of the lowest glycemic indexes of any sweeteners.
